Devin Bielata, MA., LAPC, NCC is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and counseling psychology doctoral student at Carlow University who works with adolescents, adults and couples navigating concerns related to various traumas, attachment wounds, and mood disorders. She has experience providing individual and couple’s therapy to clients facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges, with a particular focus on supporting individuals impacted by complex traumas and significant life transitions.
Devin’s clinical approach integrates relational psychotherapy, internal family systems therapy (IFS), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), tailoring her work to the unique needs of each client. She also applies poly-vagal informed, and somatic-based interventions, and is actively training in neurophysiological and neuroscience-informed approaches to deepen her ability to address trauma from both a psychological and body-based perspective. Her therapeutic style emphasizes collaboration, empathy, safety, and empowerment, helping clients feel understood as they move toward meaningful healing and growth.
Within her doctoral studies, she is deepening her training in evidence-based approaches for trauma. She also enjoys exploring the field of forensic psychology, expanding her academic interests alongside her clinical work. Devin is practicing under the supervision of Dr. Nour Bussard, PsyD, LPC, as she pursues her LPC licensure.
Outside of her professional work, Devin enjoys spending time learning, reading, and cuddling with her cat. She loves to crochet, sing, and spend time outdoors with her partner. Devin also finds joy in cooking, savoring good food, and is always eager to explore new restaurants and cuisines.
