Karima Mental Health Services provides in-person and virtual therapy across Pennsylvania. We specialize in trauma, PTSD, attachment wounds, and life transitions. Our therapists offer a safe, supportive space for healing and growth.
Trauma and PTSD involve the lingering emotional and physical effects of distressing or life-altering experiences. You may feel on edge, emotionally numb, hypervigilant, or triggered by memories and reminders of what happened.
Anxiety and depression can show up as persistent worry, low mood, fatigue, and a loss of interest in things you used to enjoy. You may feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, sadness, or like you're just going through the motions.
Attachment wounds often stem from early relationships that didn’t feel safe or secure. You may find it hard to trust others, fear abandonment, or get stuck in unhealthy relationship dynamics.
Grief is a deep emotional response to loss. Whether it's the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a life you imagined. You may feel heavy, disoriented, numb, or overwhelmed with sadness.
Struggles with identity and self-worth can leave you feeling lost, insecure, or disconnected from your authentic self. You might question who you really are or feel like you're never “enough.”
Trauma Healing Intensives are extended therapy sessions for those needing more space to process deeper emotional wounds. If you’ve felt stuck in traditional therapy, you may benefit from this focused, supportive approach.

Pre-Licensed Professional
Your first session is an opportunity to get in touch with your therapist and talk about your concerns, objectives, and expectations. It’s a time for you to ask questions and for your therapist to outline a plan for your treatment. Open and safe communication is encouraged.
In the event of a mental health crisis, it’s crucial to seek immediate assistance. You can contact a crisis hotline, visit the nearest emergency room, or get in touch with a local crisis intervention service. For non-emergencies, you can also contact your therapist or psychiatrist for guidance.

Let’s face it, we all have a story to share:
Hi, I’m Nour. I am a proud Iraqi American and I have an abundance of love, especially for those who are less privileged, less fortunate, and those deprived of their freedom.
The Arabic name “Karima” (كريمه) is a name that means “generous” or “noble”.
It carries a positive and honorable connotation.
The name Karima holds a special place in my heart.
It reminds me of my noble and generous grandmother, whose name is embedded in my clinic.
Her unwavering nobility has been a guiding light throughout my life and shaping my identity.
She is my “Karima,” that extraordinary person who has inspired me to be who I am today.
We all need a “Karima” in our lives–to guide us, empower us, and embrace our difficulties.
It’s because of her that I’ve dedicated my clinic to helping those who don’t have a “Karima” of their own, extending the same love and generosity to those who need it most.
